Israel has been a competitive lad from day dot, and his passion for all things sporting goes back longer than...well..sports, probably. He represented Otago in hockey as a youngster, and now plays cricket for the University Grange Cricket Club.

If you ever lose track of him, just listen out for the excited shouting – that'll be Israel, having turned yet another mundane task into a fully blown competition.

Off the sports field, Israel is a father to Joseph and (as of Feb 2010) William, and a husband to Kate.

Our resident Project Manager, Israel is here to convert the abundance of 'developer speak' into plain English, and to liaise with clients throughout (and beyond) the project. Having spent his entire life surrounded by computers, and time in both the sales and web industries, Israel is fluent in both geek-talk and English. He'll be the one to take your ideas to the developers, and to bring their progress back to you - so if you're ready to get started on a new site, get in touch with him!

Gerwin lives for two things – coding and...err...coding. Gerwin's not like the rest of us, see – he was born with lines of code swimming through his brain, and that's been his life ever since.

Add to this unique mental setup the fact that Gerwin doesn't need to sleep, and it's one heck of a combination. Knock on Gerwin's door at 2am, and you'll find him in front of his laptop, weetbix leftovers on the floor, code pouring from his fingers.

Hailing from the mighty plains (they're not, but it's best to let him believe it) of Waimate, Gerwin is also our in-house design talent. With a Diploma in Graphic Design from Natcoll (after being awarded a scholarship), and a passion for innovative, fresh design, Gerwin is ready to take your web presence into the future.

We thought we'd mention Gerwin's interest in golf at this point, but given the amount of digits (ahem) in his handicap, you'd need a degree in mathematics just to understand it. Suffice to say, Gerwin enjoys his golf as much as others enjoy playing against him.

Ever seen gunslingers face off in a Western? Well, that's the speed with which Ben operates. Throw a complex problem at him, and he'll have it solved before you've even taken your next breath. Ben's response time is so fast, he's been known to be called 'The Fastest Problem Solver On The Planet'. We don't know if it's true, but we'll keep saying it...

After conceptualising the solution in his head at lightening speed, Ben is just as quick to turn that solution into a reality. Whilst his taste in music is questionable at best, there's no denying that Ben has the fastest draw around.

A film, music and art snob (sorry Ben, but you just are...), you'd think you'd find Ben frequenting movie theaters and art galleries. Not so, though – his tastes are so alternative, Ben's yet to actually find a mainstream movie he likes. Unfortunately, that alternative streak also runs through to his music - Ben has contributed over half of the songs that get played in the office, and Israel and Gerwin are yet to recognise a single one of them.

An avid artist, Ben has a real flair for digital drawing and painting, and his drawings have even been spotted in a local publication.

Now, if only his taste in music was as good as his art...
